Maxx and Charly have both had their lives turned upside down. Maxx puts an ad on the internet for a new employee hoping that it will help put his business and life back in order. Charly loses her job when they closed their doors and finds out she is about to be evicted from her apartment because her ex-roommate stole from her and did not pay the rent. Charly answers Maxx's ad and is excited about her new start. Maxx is expecting a male to arrive for the new job and is surprised when Charly arrives and he can not stand her but he can not seem to stay away from her.

Revved to the Maxx is an age gap romance that will have you grinning through the whole book. I absolutely loved the banter between Maxx and Charly and the tension between them when they were attempting to avoid their attraction to each other because neither of them was looking for a relationship. Charly's little phrases were awesome and I found myself using them a couple of times. Charly was the exact whirlwind that Maxx needed to bring his life back to where it was before he was burned. This was my first Melanie Moreland book and I am looking forward to more.
