4.5 Royal Robert stars!

There are a lot of royal romances floating around Romancelandia these days and being able to distinguish a series in a sea of the same trope is a big and challenging feat.
The first book in this series, Royal Ruin, was an extremely strong start and Peterson continued to expand the Fling With Kings universe by giving us, Robert and Aly's book.
Robert is the well endowed wild child of the royal family and taming him is an almost impossible task. and when I say well endowed, I mean he's that kind of well endowed. All he is interested in is a no string arrangement with Aly. At the beginning of their secret trysts, Aly has no intention of taking their relationship any further than the smoking hot sexy times they have together.
But things always change, don't they? This was where I truly enjoyed Peterson's take on the royalty trope. Prince Robert's growth and transformation was a pleasure to read, his attempts to show Aly that he is capable of more than he has demonstrated previously. Let's face it, until Aly, Rob has been a player.
Aly struggles with balancing her attraction to Rob and being able to trust him, so he has a long row to hoe with her.
I truly enjoyed Royal Rebel, reading about Aly and Rob learning about themselves and how each other can fit into their lives.
I cannot wait to see what Ms. Peterson has in store for the next royal siblings!
