This book surprised me a lot. I was hesitant about it at first but I'm glad I decided to read it. I loved the different characters in the book and Luca, despite being in the Mafia, was actually pretty good to Haven. Sure, they had their hiccups here and there, but it was pretty obvious that he actually loved her. I love how the story developed over time even though it was fairly short. I was definitely captured by this book and I read it in one night, couldn't put it down.
Jasmine was one of my favorite best friends of any book I've read. She's so funny! I also like that each of the Dark Kings are getting their own books, as well as Nite. I can't wait to read those. I look forward to reading other books by this author as well. I loved her writing style.
