Eternal is 1 part billionaire romance, 1 part office romance, and both parts have the feels! Luci is in a rut in life; Landon is still nursing a very broken heart. These two meet at a party and hit it off. What they plan to be a one night stand becomes an issue they have to address. Turns out, Landon is the new attorney and the law office where Luci works.

Poor Landon! His ex wife was a gold digging whore who got busted giving some guy a blow job. Landon is crushed because he had tried so hard to give her everything she wanted. It was never enough (because, lets me honest, is it EVER enough for girls like that? NO!). After watching him lick his wounds for a year, his sister has had enough and begins to push him to move on. Landon has a lot going for him. He is wealthy, smart, and under his unkept beard and shaggy hair, attractive!

Luci is a smart, respected office manager for a law firm and she kicks ass at her job. But, she has kind of made the job her life. She doesn't go out, she doesn't have hobbies...and when one particularly bitchy employee points all that out, Luci reluctantly agrees that she might need to get out more.

The conflict of the story builds with the push/pull of Landon and Luci. Dodging the minefield that is an office romance is tough, and Luci isn't sure its a good idea. However, they tell the boss on the day Landon arrives at the office so its not a 'secret' office romance, which I was thankful for. Luci has a lot going on in her life that she has kept from Landon and comes to a crisis late in the book. The story is filled with lots of sexy times, some interesting secondary characters, but overall, I felt that not much happened. It drug on a bit too long for my taste but maybe I am just being contrary.
