Sin and Discipline

I honestly don't think Lily White can write a book I don't love. She truly is one of the most versatile and unique authors in the industry. From dark to sweet, to sexy and depraved. She has something for every reader's tastes. So it is no surprise that this was yet another hit with me. 

 
This book ticked all my boxes for a great taboo(ish) romance. It was well written. It was well paced. The plot was engaging. However, there were a few things I wish had been fleshed out a bit more. It was lightly taboo (teacher/student). It was sweet. It was heartbreaking. It was smokin' hot (light BDSM). It was slightly angsty. There was no OM drama. There was a smidge of OW drama. There was a tiny cast of secondary characters, but each of them gave added depth to the story. Lennon (28) was a sexy as f-ck alphahole who loved dominance. He didn't appear to be a manwhore (limited mentions of his past sex life). I truly loved Lennon's character but there were times I wanted to throat punch him. (lol) Amelia (18) was a great heroine. She was a virgin (her age made that fact bearably at least). (lol) She was feisty. She was sweet. She was a brat. I found her to be a genuinely likable heroine. Last, it was all wrapped up in a good HAPPY FOR NOW. As I reader I always prefer if a book has an epilogue that shows the main couple some years in the future. Although I was satisfied with the ending we got, I would have loved to have seen them married and maybe with a baby or two.

So yea, another great read by one of my favorite authors. I loved it. I recommend it, and everyone should buy it as soon as it becomes available!
