Find your way to cloud 9 with this brilliant bind up of the first three Mel Beeby adventures! WINGING IT Melanie Beeby, just thirteen, has been permanently removed from the late 20th Century by a speeding joy rider. She is elevated to another place, where she attends the Angel Academy. LOSING THE PLOT Mel has now passed her exams to become a full member of the Agency. When she, Lola -- her best-angel friend -- and Reuben are sent on a mission to Shakespearean England, she realises that she must be fully alert and on the ball, if England is not to miss out on the greatest play-writing talent the earth will ever know! FLYING HIGH Even angels need to chill out, and Mel's been looking forward to Lola's birthday beach party for weeks. So she's not impressed when Michael volunteers her and her angel mates for a medieval field trip.
But when they get there, they stumble upon a time scam which could have serious repercussions for the FUTURE!
Angels Unlimited was one of my favourite series around the age of 13. Later the series was renamed to Agent Angel and now goes under Angel Academy.
The Heavenly Collection contains the first three books in the series – Winging It, Losing the Plot and Flying High. Re-reading them was so much fun. I could totally see why I enjoyed these books when I was younger. I constantly checked the library system for new releases and would be disappointed when there were none.
I'm also surprised at how much I had still remembered. Shows how memorable the premise was: Mel died in a road accident and found herself at school in heaven. Turns out she became an angel. Together with her friends she chose history as a subject which allowed them to time travel. Of course, since they were angels, their mission was to save humans assigned to them.
