I adored Heart Trouble! I love the little magical twist on another otherwise Contemporary Romance. It added an interesting and fresh type of drama. Hope is out and proud, but Laleh believes she’s straight. When she starts spending a lot of time with Hope, is she actually developing feelings for her or is the connection forged by the jolt? Is Laleh even gay, or is that something else she “inherited” from Hope?! No one knows! It’s so confusing for them, but they work through it!
As for the delicious part, there’s a lot of Persian food in Heart Trouble which made me hungry! But it was the romance that kept me engaged. I loved how Hope and Laleh actually spent time together, usually trying to figure out the extent of their bond. And once the kissing starts, things surely heat up!
