A simple, sweet, slightly melancholy, but cute little fairy tale novella. It has an older protagonist who has dementia, making for a more unique perspective than usual. The story itself was nothing special, much like many fairy tales really, but it was sweet. It was an easy read, I finished it in under an hour. Probably a perfect chapter book for young readers.
