Christine Bell has done it again. FIX YOU, book 1 in Bash and Olivia's story, was one I couldn't put down and when I got the end I wanted to scream.

Despite a less than romantic meeting in a local bar, college student Olivia Beckett can't resist the draw of Sebastian "Bash" McDaniels. Despite his warnings to stay away, Olivia convinces Bash to give her self defense lessons. He knows her should do them, because he needs to concentrate on his fighting and not the beautiful girl he's training, but he can't say no to her. When Olivia's ex-boyfriend decides to make things hard on Olivia, they become very hard for Bash.

Both Olivia and Bash have issues, which we begin to see the tip of in this first installment. I can't wait to delve more into both of these characters. What we get in this installment are two people trying to deal the best they can with their current situations. For Olivia, that means tightening the spending strings now that her parents are in basically financial ruin and ending things with her long time boyfriend. For Bash, it's focusing on his fighting and finding a way to get out. Neither one of them can really use the distraction of the other, but they can't stay away from each other either.

Prepare for frustration when you get to the end of the book, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the next installment to get more from Bash and Olivia.
