Dragon Mount by Jennifer M. Eaton is a fantastic book. We follow Anna’s journey of meeting two strangers in a bar and thrown into a world where dragons are real. It’s a great book and I will try not to spoil too much. Dragon Mount comes out today June 21st. So buy a copy today. It’s a great book and I hope everything goes well for Anna and Joe.
What I liked about the book:
• The plot is what really sucked me in. The plot seemed really interesting and I never read about dragons before. Yes, my guest reviewer has but I have not. Okay, and it might have also been in the cover as well. The cover was also really interesting and made me wonder. I so love cool covers.
• The fact that each dragon can do something else and that they really are just trying to find a place in this world. It’s also very interesting with how the writer adapted dragons into the modern world as well. That right there is very interesting.
• The characters are all pretty much realistic in my opinion. Especially the fact that Joe really does care for Anna.
• The fact that Joe actually wants to learn more about Anna than the other dragons makes me very happy for those two.
What I disliked about the book:
Okay, this is hard part about any book reviews to do. Or at least it is in my opinion. The first thing that I disliked is that all the other dragons picked on poor Joe just because he is smaller than them all. That was just plain hurtful granted that’s how every bully is but it still sucks. Another thing that I disliked is my last like actually about Joe. This time though it’s about how almost all the other dragons are after Anna because of her rare blood type and that they don’t care that Joe likes her. Another thing that I disliked is how people can trust the dragons that they know hurt another dragon that they worshipped. I know that one is extremely vague but I can’t exactly say. You just have to read the book to figure that out.
What I am curious about: (Spoilers)
I am very curious to know, do Anna and Joe make it work? Does Joe even find a new mate on the next Seventeen Years or does he stay with Anna? Does he step down for the next king? All very important questions that might not get answered since I liked the way that this book ended in a way that we can decide on all of that in our minds.
Five Stars
I am giving Dragon Mount by Jennifer M. Eaton a five-star review. It was everything I thought it would be and even more. It’s such a fabulous book that even though I still do have questions in my mind that I don’t want a sequel to find out. I like that I get to think about it. I also recommend this book to anyone that likes dragons or haven’t even read a book about dragons like me. I am glad that I got the chance to read Dragon Mount.
Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
