The Best Friend

So this book was OK. I much preferred the previous two connected books. This one just didn't have the same "intrigue" as the previous ones for me. There were small little things that were glossed over, and that bothered me. I couldn't stand Mike AT ALL. This guy was a completely self-centered jerk, and I never once felt he cared for anyone (especially Aubry) but himself. So yea, a bit of a miss for me. That said, I still love this author and will be keeping my eyes peeled to see what she has in store for us next.
