This story didn't grab me at first. To be honest I kept getting distracted. It really didn't hold my attention. The beginning of the story seemed a little bit rushed and awkward. We meet Lindy Knight who is by far the most peculiar person I've ever read about. She's a total sap and so strange to me. There were times when I wanted to smack my forehead because she was also kind of annoying in a way.

Then we meet the gorgeous, rich, hunk of an irishman Owen Phipps. By some miracle Lindy falls upon Owen's post on Craigslist.. He's out for revenge and he needs someone to play his wife for three weeks. Craigslist in general is creepy, but to land upon a chance like that.. with a man like that.. Owen Phipps can hire me anytime.

Near the middle of the story is when I started liking it. I really think it's the love/hate relationship I have with Lindy Knight, because I just couldn't understand her. But as I read on she kind of grew on me. She really is a great person who is very loving and thoughtful, and I was actually rooting for her towards the end. Men are such hard headed creatures and it was really great to see how a woman with Lindy's personality was able to get underneath that skin of his. The story really got to me during the climax, and I was even emotional during the ending.

All in all I enjoyed this book. There's humor in this story as well. It was definitely a great read.
