I must say that Sweet Filthy Boy was totally sweet and filthy! Mia and Ansel have a ton of sex! It's explosive sex! And it's not all missionary and locked gazes. They get rough and dirty and creative! In fact, part of their relationship development is revolved around the fact that intimacy gets awkward once Mia arrives in France. They're without a doubt attracted to each other, but at one point it's just not working for Mia. I love that the authors included that, because sex isn't always amazing and everyone certainly doesn't orgasm all of the time. But Mia and Ansel find a way to bring back that spark and holy crap! Explosions!
I also really loved the ending. I was definitely expecting an inevitable fight in Sweet Filthy Boy, and there is one. However, it doesn't go in the typical Romance novel way. Yes, Mia and Ansel have a temporary break up, but it was more than that. They both had things they needed to accomplish, and it they couldn't do them while together. Mia needed to spread her wings and find her way and that was wonderful! They actually talk about these things and a figure out what to do next. Hooray for communication!
Sweet Filthy Boy made me very happy. It's sweet and sexy and there's a bit of adventure thrown in there. I also really enjoyed getting to know Mia and Ansel's friends a little bit, who will be starring in the next books. I'm particularly excited to see Harlow again!
