Here With Me is a standalone best friends sibling, second chance, military romance told from the first-person point of view.
Sawyer and Mindy have been friends and each other’s go-to for support for the longest time. Sawyer was forced to grow up faster than he wanted to when his world was turned upside down. After becoming a Marine and getting a medical discharge, Sawyer returns home a changed man. Mindy has been in love with Sawyer since he saved her when she was young and has been waiting forever for him to claim her as his own. When Sawyer’s PTSD rears its ugly side can Mindy’s love bring him to the light or will he be lost to the darkness?
Here With Me is an emotional ride right from page one that will have you experiencing all of the feels throughout the whole novel and is a story of heartbreak, healing and second chances. Sawyer’s struggle with his family issues and his demons from his time in the Marines are very heavy and make you feel for him and hope that he is going to be able to come out of the darkness that he is finding himself falling into. I love that Mindy did not give up on Sawyer no matter how much he tried to push her away.
