Unpopular point of view here I guess, but this book was just AWFUL in my opinion.



The writing was amateurish. The plot was underdeveloped and unbelieveable (and I have NO problem stretching believability when the writing supports it) It was repetitive...it was repetitive...it was repetitive...Cage sounded like a pussy instead of an alpha cop. The heroines been locked away for YEARS. Yet, she just happily goes off to live with this guy she doesn't know. Let's him buy her clothes and has massive amounts of virgin sex within like a day of meeting him.

Look I know I am being ubber critical. I know what kind of book I am going to get when I start these type of things. That said, there are authors that can do this type of book well. Sadly for me, this wasn't one of them.

To leave this on a positive. That cover is HOT and it did have two epilogues, so there is that.
