This is a short book with three stories about some of the characters in the Blue Blood books. The first story is about Oliver and the struggle he faces after Schuyler leaves with Jack. It is painful to ready, but at the end I am glad that he was able to rise above it (with some help of the magical kind!)
The second story was about Allegra, Charles and Schuyler's dad (Ben). This one was an unexpected, but good addition of what we know about the main characters. As you know more most of the books Allegra has been in a weird coma and we don't know why or how this happend (we still don't know.) But we get a view of her life as a teenager, of her increasing unease about her relationship with Charles, the tense relationship with Cordelia, and more enjoyable how she meets the man she will eventually marries. This story left me even more curious about why she still made the decisions she did, and what happened after. Also, what exactly happend in Florence?
The third story is about Schuyler and Jack and I loved it. I was glad to see that bith Oliver and Bliss were happy and that my favorite couple tied the knot. Can't wait the the next book!
