The Moment Collector wasn't what I thought it'd be.
I was prepared for a paranormal story with ghosts and stuff. And while there was a ghost - or spirit - it wasn't the center of the story.
I found the plot to be rather boring and predictable. The ending didn't surprise me at all, which is a shame. It was just so clear to me.
It was more of a typical YA love story, which was fine. It just wasn't what I expected.
While I wasn't the biggest fan of the story, I was in love with the writing! [a:Jodi Lynn Anderson|94868|Jodi Lynn Anderson|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1337023922p2/94868.jpg] sure knows how to write! It was compelling and beautiful. I sincerely regret not buying [b:Tiger Lily|7514925|Tiger Lily|Jodi Lynn Anderson|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1329681513s/7514925.jpg|9720811] while it was on sale for Kindle, because I know now that I'll love that story as well.
The characters of this book was cliché, but I really didn't mind, because they were relatable and real. I really loved Maggie's dad, he was hilarious! Inappropriate, just like parents can be, and loveable. It was easy to feel all the love he had for Maggie. It was a pleasure to get to read about it.
I'd recommend this book to pretty much everyone!
