I enjoyed this book, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me, particularly after reading Sarah’s review. It’s actually a lot more actionable than I thought it would be, which is in some ways good—there are a lot of “scripts” you can use for sticky situations. Ultimately though it didn’t quite address what I was expecting—I thought it would be a little more research based and would have a little more heft to it—so I was let down a bit.

I’d still recommend it, just go in expecting a quick read that focuses on strategies for asserting your dominance / standing up for yourself in the workplace as a woman.
