I’ve seen better..

If you like High school BFFs turned lovers after reunion, then this is for you! Greg is a great guy, he’s the handsome sweet bestfriend you can think of, the one who may have a simple crush on you but doesn’t show it because he values your friendship too much. He’s calculating his every move to make sure you won’t feel discomfort. He makes it to NHL and plays pro

Julia is a courtside or sports reporter who needs to protect her reputation and career by saying NO to athletes every time they approach her or ask her out. She and Greg are bestfriends BUT it wasn’t clear as day how they were Bffs. There’s no backstory or history of what happened between them just a contract in Greg’s yearbook that says Julia will kiss Greg on their reunion provided that they both are single by that time.

I was lost when I met several characters, Hank and Jack, it’s like there’s a story to how these characters meet but the author forgot to include it. If this book is part of a series, you might ought to include some details in the other books because people might pick up the 3rd book without knowing it’s part of a series. If there’s a cameo, people wont appreciate this little bits and will just say “Huh?”

Especially when I read the epilogue... it’s from a different POV that’s not even played a big role in the book. Like “WTF? Who are you and what did you do with Greg and Julia? Why are you even speaking? Why am I in your thoughts/mind. Get me out!” Lollll.

This could’ve been better.
