I came into this book knowing that I was going to adore everything about it and I was completely right. This series is just... so good, and it starts out with one of the best first novels I've ever read. Everything about Hsin and Boyd and what you learn is so specifically crafted to what you believe you need to know, but there is is a wealth of information hidden underneath. I also can't stop falling in love with the whole cast of characters, and I really am trying to stall so I don't binge read this series in a matter of days because I need to savour it before I do another reread... again.
