Little Lies by H. Hunting (ARC Review)

"You say it like you hold all the blame. We are equally complicit in our fall. Sometimes we have to break so we can recreate a stronger version of ourselves."

Little Lies is a enemies to lovers, best friends sibling college romance that will have you glued to the pages.

Kodiak and Lavender were best friends and understood each other better than anyone ever since they were little. Kodiak promised never to hurt Lavender and then during the holidays, his freshman year, drove a wedge between them and hurt her deeply. Two years later Kodiak and Lavender are now at the same school and seeing each other every day is making it hard for the little lies not to be revealed.

I was captivated by this story right from the open sentence of the book. I have not read many Helena Hunting books, including the books of Kodiak and Lavender's parents but I will be going back to read them. The connection between Kodiak and Lavender when they were younger was so strong and the tension that it grew into as young adults was so thick but once the lies were revealed the connection and chemistry set the pages on fire. I can not wait for more books from H. Hunting (Helena Hunting).
