Beautifully written and full of emotion, Waiting for the Storm is an inspirational story of hope, love, friendship, and courage. It will break your heart and leave you with a smile on your face. That is the best thing about this novel, once in a while you'll find a ruby in a mountain of rocks that will change the way you see the world and the people lucky enough to be part of your life.

The story is raw and painful, but inspiring and uplifting at the same time. The characters are wonderfully developed and easy to connect with emotionally,none more than Ella, for me personally. From the moment I started reading I felt an incredible connection and have been reminded not to be afraid, to always open your heart wide no matter how much it may hurt at times and let love in. Don't let yourself fall victim to limitations in your life or learn to let go so that you can live. There were moments of clarity that resonated with on a much deeper and personal level.
