I was offered this book from the author for a review, i was excited to dive into this story as i love middle grade novels they have the ability to have great world building, great characters and strong lessons for children to learn and us adults as well.

I gave this book a three cause one i felt that it was way to short, their a great story to be told here but it so rushed that their no world building, i felt like things just kind of happened and i was left lacking the depth that is their. The illustrations are perfect for a middle grade novel. I really think the authors need to go back and really pull this story into a good full length novel i felt like i got some shorten quick blurb of what could really be a great story.
