I honestly wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did. But I just didn't. I felt like I never really connected with any of the characters and the romance between Jordan and Owen was weird. I liked the start with issue one of their comic, Pin Man and Pencil Boy. But that was the only time it was mentioned. There was a little bit of humour but otherwise it all just felt too serious. It seemed like it was going to be this light happy read but there was a lot of seriousness, more than I wanted or needed. I think that's maybe why I never warmed to the story. 1.5 stars.
