Starfall: A Starflight Novel (Starflight, #2)

Starfall is a companion novel to Starflight. It's based on two different characters and is a completely different story to Starflight, however it's a really good story and I loved it.

What I liked

- I thought I wouldn't enjoy Starfall as much because it was about two completely different characters. I was wrong. I really enjoyed this story. Cassia and Kane's story was very different to Solara's and Doran's, but it wasn't any less fun to read.

- Cassia was a bad-ass, she could look after herself. She had to fight hand, nail and tooth for her planets well being, and she did just that. No matter if she wasn't happy or if she couldn't have the one thing (or person) she wanted. Her country came first, always. She grew throughout the book and I loved the person she became by the end.

- The story was action packed and there was still a bit of space travel involved.

What I didn't like

- Cassia was a self centred b*tch. Excuse my language. But she was. She was always blaming Kane for everything, nothing was her fault and this got old really fast. Cassia was so annoying at times, she always thought about herself and never tried to see things from other peoples perspectives. I started to really dislike her because of this.

- The romance between Cassia and Kane was frustrating because it was one of those cases where if they had simply just discussed how they felt about each other, then there would be no problems. Instead they both got jealous and made a whole lot of assumptions that were incredibly incorrect. They were really bad at communicating with each other about their feelings for one another. The main issue with their relationship was this. It was silly.

Starfall was a fun Sci Fi to read and a really nice conclusion to this universe and these characters.
