This was the first read for me by Tracy Wolff and, in true Malia fashion, I had zero ideas that this was part of a series. Thankfully, you don't need to read the previous books to understand what's going on in this one. But I'm sure you'd get more insight into not only the main characters but the side ones as well.

Tori, a trust fund baby and quite the socialite are trying to clean up her act a bit. She essentially has it all, but a run-in with an ex results in a sex tape starring her. Completely turning her life on its axis, her father has had it and kicks her out of her place with barely anything on her. Defeated and barefoot, she seeks out a safe haven to escape from the mess in her life; her best friend's, Chloe, apartment. Much to her surprise, there's another person staying there, her arch nemesis, Miles Girard, Chloe's brother.

Already loathing each other, the tension is high, but all of that is bound to stir up something between them.

Even though they seem to hate each other, Miles helps Tori out.

Miles is the geeky knight in shining armor. As much as he says he can't stand Tori, he is definitely attracted to her. And he finds himself helping Tori out in her time of need.

In this one, I loved Miles more than Tori. She seemed to fly off at the handle a bit too much. And with Miles feeling the guilt of a horrible situation that his sister had to endure, he doesn't want the sit aside and does nothing while this sh*t storm happens to Tori.

It was definitely an enjoyable read, Tori and Miles are an interesting mix, but they'll definitely make it work.
