The one thing I love about 1001 Dark Nights is discovering new authors and series to read! Surrender was a new to me author and I am a complete fan! I have zero idea how I've never read any of her books before, but as soon as I finished, I went ahead and bought the first book in this series. And I can't wait to start learning about this interesting world.
I'd say this was a great introduction to this series, there are so much mystery and suspense that'll keep you intrigued the entire time. I'm not entirely sure what role Marco and Felicity play in this series, but I quickly became a fan of the both of them by the end of Surrender. So I can't wait to read more about them in the House of Sin series.
I know this was a novella, but just by reading this, you'll be begging for so much more and I hope all of that will get appeased once I read this series. Felicity and Marco are so hot together and probably my favorite scene was when they first meet, talk about such fire scoring between the both of them. They're such a great pair and work so well together, even when both have their own thing going on.
Naughton did a fantastic job with this novella, suspenseful and downright sexy! I can't wait to dive into the House of Sin series!
