I can understand why some people hated this book but I feel this series is getting stronger and more intriguing. There were a few scares in there with the cranks who wanted their noses!(not looking forward to seeing that on the big screen!!) and the story line with Brenda was a little stupid to introduce and then I found myself rooting for her. I feel the book draws you in giving you little clues to what is going on that you decipher a lot more quickly than the characters which can be frustrating. But I feel they dangle the carrot just enough to keep you wanting more! Already on the final book and it's still intriguing but reałly don't want this to end! Life without newt what will I do!
