I wasn't all that happy with the first one, but I love the art and idea of it so I tried this one to give the series a fair shot. I'm going to pass on the rest of the series. There isn't anything wrong with it necessarily. I just found the behind the scenes more interesting and the narrative world building on the page confusing.
