While the premise was good, I found the brevity of the story did not allow the character development that I have come to treasure in D.W. Marchwell's books. Ryan and Lee are both sweet characters and I could very well understand why Lee might remember Ryan from his childhood but didn't quite understand why Ryan would remember Lee.
