I assuming if your reading this review you have a fairly good idea who Harry Dresden is since this is book 16. Wow i not sure i read a series that has this many books. I was thinking the Naomi Novik Teremerie series was the longest one i read.

Anyway the title is perfect for this book and it a set up for the much anticipated by me Battle Ground book 17. I love that title as i grew up in the area of Battle Ground Washington so that makes it extra unique to me.

This book has everything i come to expect from a Dresden Novel. Harry gets tortured just a bit by our author. Their Macrone, molly, mouse the wonderful car and boat with wonderfully unique names. Their magical duels, their vampires, fae and of course harry gets dragged into a huge problem and struggles once again with his winter knight mantle that gets him hot under the collar. This is a great book to wet your appetite for what to come in the next book.
