I absolutely loved this book! Marie Lu can't go wrong. I was unsure about reading about Batman, but after the prologue, I said yes Lord, Marie Lu gives me life! ha ha. I didn't know what to expect with this story, which was about Bruce Wayne pre-Batman, but I actually enjoyed it. We already have so many movies about him as Batman, so this was a welcome change. Marie perfectly characterized the young Bruce and by the end of the novel, he had evolved to become the Batman we all know and love. This story kept me on my toes until the very end! Perfection. :)
