This book has a slow start to what is a nail biting ending that i did not see coming, and the betrayer of the group had the wool pulled over my eyes the whole way through the book just like poor Fletcher. We start out with a trial for Fletcher and i felt that it dragged quite a bit with this, but their was a purpose to it and once we get beyond that and into the heart of the what the whole theme of this book is about which is unity among the races, the story really starts to build. You really start to be engrossed in how the whole mission is going to play out, are they really going to be able to unite these races with just a simple rescue and destruction mission. It can't be that simple can it, of course not cliff hanger ending with a shocking revelation. The Inquisition is a great second novel that gives you more info into the demons and how they work with their summoners, it also shares more about this land and Fletcher really gets to know how he is and where he comes from. Really ready to read the next book to see what else is coming Fletcher way.
