A Lord's Chance - This story was a sweet adventure through the Mediterranean on a cruise.  With a stop in Morocco and one in Athens, the author used great imagery to convey the sights and sounds of these foreign countries.  With Isabelle and Gavin going from mistrust of one another to friendship and encountering a number of adventures, this was a fun journey.

I would have liked to have gotten more details on the betrayal that Isabelle experienced as a younger woman.  And I disliked the reference to Gavin praying to all the gods when he was desperate, though I understand the reason for that was that he was desperate and they were in Greece.  It was probably period appropriate, but. . .

Falling in Rome - This book had me absolutely charmed.  I loved the interactions between Eleanor and Ken and the way they both cared for their charges, and enjoyed the fact that their connection was through archaeology  and scholarly pursuits.

A Secret Arrangement - This was another story with archaeology and a love of history.  Though I know that the use of first names was reserved for intimate acquaintances at this time in history, the way Henry reacted to being able to refer to Evelyn by her first name was so very sweet.
