A lot of fun with a little bit of crazy thrown in. When we first met Blake in the Fighting for Flight (my Goodreads review) he made quite an impression. I think I knew then that I'd want to simultaneously rip his clothes off and smack him upside the head.

"Have you ever heard of Emily Post? She's an expert on etiquette. You might want to look her up."

"Yeah?" He rubs his chin, making a show that he's considering what I said. He lifts one eyebrow. "She single?"

I prop both hands on my hips and run an overly obvious gaze from his black athletic shoes to his eyes. "Maybe, but she'd only date a gentleman."

He lifts his chin, then bites and releases his lip. "I could be a gentleman. I like roleplay."

See? Blake is a player by his design and for his own protection. He has his own hangs ups where women are concerned and when he meets Layla and her daughter Elle, those hangs up get turned on their head. Oh and he calls Layla, "Mouse" and it's really sweet. Blake is a much better man than he has been giving himself credit for and before he knows it, he is truly falling for her.
