Once again, I had to firmly remind myself that the events in this issue are happening in a completely different universe. Same characters we know and love, just a different incarnation of them. Remembering that bit is important because otherwise, things get pretty confusing. This was a really strong issue. It was emotionally compelling, interesting, and had some of the classic Spider-Man heartbreak that we've come to expect from any series.
