**AN ARC WAS GRACIOUSLY PROVIDED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN**
The Wright family is one that I've learned to love so much as I read each book about the siblings finding their happy ever afters. And the one I was so eager for was Sutton's. Her story is absolutely heartbreaking and if you've read The Wright Secret, you know exactly what I'm talking about. For such a loss that Sutton went through, I was expecting a bit more angst, but that little bit didn't stop me from enjoying the first part of this duet. I'd say it was just the right amount of angst to carry me through The Wright Love.
I gotta say, what is up with the authors writing duets this year, I'm noticing quite the trend. But I can't say that I hate them because they have all been absolutely amazing to read.
I've been so anxious to read Sutton's story and the first chapter absolutely killed me! I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting to get my heart obliterated in the first chapter. It was like watching the beginning of the movie Up ... prepare yourself for those tears to fall. But I will say that this was my favorite chapter, we truly see what Sutton is feeling. And what we'll see more of as she makes her journey of grieving and possibly moving on. I felt bad for Sutton, even though she had the best support from her family and friends, there were a couple outside opinions that moved her towards doubting herself. Not only with trying to move forward in her life to be happy again, but as a mom. And that was just unbelievably unfair to her. Everyone grieves differently and move on their own time.
I loved David so much. He came into the Wright's lives, in my opinion, at the best time. He's been such a solid support and friend to Sutton, even to help watch her adorable boy, Jason. He was so patient with her and left everything up to her when it came for them moving forward. The ONE thing that ticked me off about David was the secret he was keeping and it was a pretty big one, which blew up in his face. Honesty, my friend, is a powerful thing.
And now we must wait until their conclusion story to see what happens! The Wright Love had all the feels that I look for in a book. David and Sutton are perfectly matched for each other. All K.A. Linde fans will love their story. Plus, we get to see the Wright gang; gosh, I love them!
