I loved the movie Clue and this book reminded me so much of it with multiple twists added in. I did feel some Riverdale vibes especially when it came to the parents of the teenagers just not being involved whatsoever in their lives it seemed. Which is present in Riverdale, also them dealing with some adult situations in the worst ways possible at times.

I loved seeing things from each different character's prospectives and how through their eyes we were able to piece together what happened that night a year ago. Each character is so developed in a way where we know them and see how they were before that night and how that night changed each of their lives.

At the house, we get to see their dynamics as friends and how they knew each other. This became very important because they all were connected in some way. We don't get to see the full extent of this until the last quarter of the book which made it far more exciting and fast paced. As for the house, itself and the clue aspect it added in, I couldn't get enough. The mystery of the phantom-like character and who it was I was unable to figure out until a little bit before the end. Even after having figured it out I still wanted to know more and what caused it to be that way. I like how this was a fun mystery that also dealt with some big topics in small ways.

Overall I found this to be a fun fast-paced mystery read and I can't wait to read more by this author in the future.
