Initial thoughts: I'm pretty irked by the change in the changed styles of art. From #8 to #9 and #10, they each had a different illustrator and it was very evident at first glance. Vol. 1 & 2 were consistent and then, Bam! Sudden shift. I find that added a big disconnect for me to the characters.
Plot-wise, #9 slowed down again over #8 and was more of a filler. By the end of #10 there finally was a twist I was waiting for. Vol. 3 ends on a cliffhanger but somehow, I'm not holding my breath. Will continue reading if Scribd or one of my libraries carries the sequels. Otherwise, nope, not buying. I mostly stuck it out because Noelle Stevenson's name is on the the cover, so I kept hoping I'd take greater overall liking to the Lumberjanes series. It's still good fun but t could be more.
