I love anything written by Kelley Armstrong. Seriously. She’s a genius. This book was no exception. Everything about it was perfect. I was a little worried because all her books are supernatural and this one is more of a mystery. Either way I loved her.
The plot was fantastic. It moved along at a perfect pace and there was always some unexpected events. I liked how everything was really secretive and mysterious and you found things out along with the characters. I also like how we go to see the victims and the killers points of view. It made it really interesting.
I loved all of the characters. The main character, Nadia, is a great female heroine. She’s an ex cop turned hit woman and she’s a really strong character. I also loved Jack, he was really smart and kind. I liked how the author doesn’t really let us trust the others since the main character doesn’t quite trust them. The author makes us feel exactly what the characters are feeling. I loved reading about all the hit men. It was a really cool concept that hasn’t really been done.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Kelley Armstrong or who likes cool mystery book.
