This yummy little cookbook is very similar to Chef Q in Paris: The Fall Collection by Didier Quémener which I reviewed earlier this year.

You can find that review by clicking on the following link...https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1720324318?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1

This addition to this cookbook series focuses on WINTER ingredients and comfort foods. It has a nice little "SHOPPING LIST" at the start with things like Escarole, Belgian Endive, Sweet Potato, Cabbage...etc.

It is then divided into three parts. SOUPS -- MAIN COURSES -- DESSERTS & DRINKS. Each recipe starts with a photo, a little history about the recipe, the recipe itself, a "CHEERS" paragraph that suggests the best beverage to accompany the recipe, and a "DIDIER TIP" which suggests different ingredients to change up the recipes.

Some of the recipes featured in this book are...

-- FRENCH ONION SOUP
-- ULTIMATE CHICKEN SOUP
-- TURKEY BREAST WITH NORMANDY CREAM SAUCE
-- BEER LAMB STEW
-- INTENSE CHOCOLATE CAKE
-- CHOCOLATE CAFÉ CRÉME

You also get two bonus chapters. One titled "WHICH TEA GOES WITH YOUR MACARONS" and "THE PERFECT VALENTINE'S DINNER"

If you are a foodie like me, this would make a great addition to your cookbook collection, Two thumbs up from yours truly.
