West and Blue are finally beginning to enjoy being together when Vin, West's dad, decides he doesn't want them together anymore. Vin threatens Blue to break West or pay the consequences. As things get darker around Cypress Pointe, West and Blue lean on their trusted friends to help them enact the perfect plan to bring down Vin once and for all.
West and Blue have gone through so much to finally be together and of course, more secrets and heartache need to be revealed before they can finally be together. I liked how fiercely West wanted to protect and make sure Blue was safe. I was happy to see West and Ricky finally start working together instead of against each other for the sake of Blue.
I did enjoy the whole trilogy but felt it probably could have been a duet as it seemed like the story started to drag in the middle of this one. The fact that we still did not find out who Pandora is was kind of a letdown.
Forever Golden did a good job of wrapping up West and Blue's story and I am looking forward to West's brother's stories.
Audio... Neill Thorne, Lessa Lamb, and Sarah Puckett all did a good job bringing the story and characters to life.
Forever Golden is a dark, high school, romantic suspense that is told in the first-person point of view of West and Blue with views from Pandora and Ricky.
