This was a very hard book to get into. The main character has her own code revolving around animals to describe people, some are obvious like 'peacock' but others are kind of all over the place and it's hard to keep up with. This falls on the younger end of YA, and I think the author did a good job of capturing that voice and mindset.

However, I think the overall plot felt a bit young too in the terms of how it's explained. I don't think I really get the whole idea revolving around teens and Planet Popular, and to be honest the story kind of feels like something a kid dreams up. Which in itself isn't a bad thing, it's just weirdly underexplained and rushed.
