Quirky Cat
Summary:
Twilight is a master spy. By their nature, spies cannot be famous. But Twilight is as close as they come to being famous for his career. His latest assignment requires him to have the perfect family. While he's found the family, he's working on the perfect part...
Anya has a basic (very basic) understanding of what her spy father needs her to do. For example, she knows that she must find a way to befriend Damian Desmond. Unfortunately, all of her efforts have backfired – in spectacular fashion.
Review:
I'm binge-reading several series right now, and I have to say, Spy x Family is probably the one I most look forward to each week. It's funny and endearing in equal measure, which makes it quite a relaxing read.
The new family dynamics are perfect – in my mind. We have four primary characters, all with their own abilities. With Anya being the only one aware of what the whole family can do – it's the perfect recipe for fun-fueled chaos, and I love it.
I'm bringing up the balance now because I feel like the series has officially hit its stride in Spy x Family Vol. 5. Before, much of the plot had to focus on the foundation of the series/world/character. Now it's free to have a bit more fun and the like. In truth, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Long story short, go check out Spy x Family! It's such a fun series.
