Will Yasmin give in to her feelings for Lane or run for it?
Yasmin Katsalos
Yasmin Katsalos is one of the two main characters, and she has gone through a lot in her short twenty-four years of life. She is trying to have a nice, fun, and positive new outlook on life instead of doing what others want her to do. She is a Greek woman through and through especially when it comes to how her feelings come into play. Yasmin is intelligent and thinks things through logically then the next minute; she wants to live a life without any attachments to one place.
I like Yasmin and her logical side, but I have a hard time with how she thinks that if she is tied down somewhere that she isn't free to be who she wants to be when in a lot of cases, even if someone is tied down they can still express themselves in whatever way they want to. Yasmin is a good character. I enjoyed her character growth throughout the book.
Lane Griffiths
Lane Griffiths is all about following a plan while not wanting to be like his parents. He wants to be able to find a woman that he loves and be able to give his children something that he never had. I admire Lane for everything that he has done to overcome what his parents did to him while also growing with Yasmin. Lane is a good guy who knows what he wants, even if that means changing his plans to fit with another person's goals. There is a lot to like Lane, and I do think that he takes everything in stride. I think if I were to meet Lane out on the streets that we might be friends. Will Lane be able to convince Yasmin to stay put?
