This is my second T. A. Grey read and I’m proud to say I’m hooked! I absolutely could not put this book down! I loved the Beauty and the Beast type feel of this story and Gavin had me by the heartstrings! I love how Gavin wanted to make Alicia fall in love with him before she saw him, hoping that when she did, the love would keep her from leaving. Alicia had so much strength and determination I knew right away she would make a great mate for Gavin. Their journey was a rocky one, but well worth it in the end.

The characters are what made me fall in love with this book. Don’t get me wrong, the mystery behind all the horrible things happening to this pack was thrilling to read, but the characters, both primary and secondary, are what had me smooshing my face against my Kindle screen desperate more. This is one of the best books I’ve read this year and I cannot wait to see what's next for the MacKellen pack.
