This prequel to the Tempest rockers (Irresistible Refrain) is the story I didn't even know I needed. I loved seeing Lace, Dizzy, King, War, and Sager when they were still in high school. I knew they had all had difficult youths, but actually living a little part of Lace's made me understand so many things - and it also made me want to re-read Irresistible Refrain right now. Even more so because Ms. Mankin has added two chapters to that story, so yeah, you know where to find me next :D
