I would've loved for this book to be 200 pages longer. It was too short or too action packed. I really missed some background information, such as how is Kendra being trained and why.
Kendra is a very strong main character and she's so badass! I really liked her and I'd love to read more about her, but I'm not sure this novella thing is working for me. It felt rather clumsy in some way. I mean...there wasn't really time to explain anything, it was just jumping from one event to the next.
This novella has so much potential, I kind of hope the author will go rewrite it and turn it into a real novel, because I'm sure I'd love that!
