Dragons Need Love Too is a continuation of the I like big dragons series that I gobbled up! This book focuses on dragon rider Nikolai and his newly found mate, Brooklyn. At the end of book 1, we discovered that Brooklyn was being held hostage and tortured by her uncle and his batshit crazy followers. The dragon riders save her, but she is in BAD shape. However, Nikolai knows right away that Brooklyn is his mate. These two have a bit of a tough road ahead. Her uncle's followers and still out there and they want to kill the dragons. There is no shortage of danger in this book for sure. Also, cute baby dragons!!!! Gah! The adorableness!
The cast of characters is interesting and helps keep the reader engaged for sure. Nikolai's older brother and his mate (from book 1) still play a large part, plus there are the other dragon riders that are beginning to have a larger role in the story. And lets not forget, the dragons! Since the dragons communicate with their rider, you actually get to hear the dragons commentary and they are each unique and fun.
Overall, Dragons need love too is another delightful addition to this series that has just completely won me over! If you like paranormal, supernatural, family sagas you will enjoy the story of the Vassago brothers and their quest to protect the dragons.
As always, Mason Lloyd and Kendall Taylor are wonderful narrators! These two have done every LLV book I have listened to and its always wonderful! I know when I pick up one of their narrations, I will be able to enjoy the book with them enhancing the story and not detracting from it.
