Benedict Hampton, a wickedly sexy Viscount (Kellaway) has the appearance and wit of a pirate. He encounters a woman, Angelica Curtis, daughter of an Earl, who entrances him with her beauty, much like a mermaid she seems, blossoming love in his heart.
This is the first book by Anabelle Bryant that I've had the pleasure of reading, yet I began with her latest, which seems to be the most sensual of her stories due to the personality of the hero. Even though this story has more passionate love scenes,I found them to be romantic and tastefully written.
While reading, I never felt the need to skip passages. The story flowed well and kept my interest till the end.
I'm eager to read the first two of the series, as I find I like the author's romantic voice and writing style.
I received a copy for my honest opinion, and I'm happy to include her on my reading list and recommendations.
